Welcome to Sol Mama, a maternity fashion brand owned and operated by Matra Lifestyle Products and Services LLP (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our'). Our website is accessible at www.sol-mama.com (hereinafter referred to as 'the website').

By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase on our website, you ('the User', 'you', or 'your') confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ('Terms'), along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the website.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Matra Lifestyle Products and Services LLP, in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, including the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011.


2. Eligibility to Use

Use of this website is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Minors are not permitted to transact on this website. If you are below 18 years of age, you may only use the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the website, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria described above.

 

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the website - such as order tracking and wishlist management - you may be required to create a user account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with anyone
  • Notify us immediately at support@sol-mama.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account

4. Products, Pricing and Availability

4.1 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products accurately, including descriptions, sizes, fabrics, and colours. However, please note that the appearance of colours on your screen may vary slightly from the actual product due to differences in display settings and professional photography lighting. Such minor variations do not constitute a defect.


4.2 Sizing

Maternity wear is designed to accommodate a changing body throughout pregnancy and postpartum. We strongly recommend consulting our Size Guide before placing an order. Sol Mama will not be responsible for size-related issues arising from incorrect selection, provided the product matches the listed specifications.

 

4.3 Pricing

All prices listed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The Company reserves the right to revise pricing at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at the time of checkout.

We do not apply any hidden charges. The final price you see at checkout is what you pay.


4.4 Availability

All products are subject to availability. In the rare event that an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will inform you promptly and either offer a suitable alternative or provide a full refund.


5. Orders and Payments

5.1 Placing an Order

By placing an order on the Website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the stated price. An order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us. The Company reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability.


5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments via major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and other methods made available through our payment gateway partners (including Shopify Payments and/or Razorpay). All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. The Company does not store your full card or banking credentials on its servers.


5.3 Fraudulent Transactions

In the event of fraudulent, unauthorised, or suspicious transaction activity, the Company reserves the right to cancel the relevant order and report the matter to the appropriate authorities. The Company also reserves the right to pursue legal action and seek recovery of costs, including legal fees, from the party responsible.


5.4 Electronic Communications

By transacting on this Website, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically - including order confirmations, shipping updates, and relevant notices - via email or SMS.

 

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Domestic Shipping

Sol Mama currently delivers across India. Most orders are delivered within 5–7 working days, depending on your location. Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated to you at checkout and via your order confirmation. While we endeavour to meet these timelines, they are indicative and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier issues, public holidays, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.


6.2 Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. There are no hidden costs. We may occasionally offer free shipping on select orders or as part of promotional offers.


6.3 Shipment Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and courier partner details. You may use this to monitor your delivery status.


6.4 Delivery Attempts

Our delivery partners will make up to three attempts to deliver your package. If delivery is unsuccessful after three attempts, the package may be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, re-delivery charges may apply.


6.5 Incorrect Address

The Company shall not be held liable for non-delivery or delays resulting from an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer. Please double-check your delivery details before placing an order.


6.7 Cash on Delivery (COD)

For COD orders, you will receive a confirmation call or email from our team before dispatch. A COD order will not be shipped until it has been confirmed by the customer. Please ensure you are reachable on the number provided at checkout.


6.8 Force Majeure

In exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, government-mandated lockdowns, strikes, or other events outside our reasonable control - delivery timelines may be significantly affected. We will communicate such situations transparently and do our best to resolve them as quickly as possible.


7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

7.1 Return Eligibility & Window

We want every Sol Mama purchase to make you feel wonderful. You have 14 days from the date of delivery to try your order. If needed, you may initiate a return within this same 14-day period, subject to the following conditions:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with all original tags attached
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging
  • Products purchased on sale are not eligible for returns
  • Innerwear, nursing pads, and other intimate items are non-returnable for hygiene reasons


7.2 Free Returns

We offer free returns on all eligible orders, provided the return request is raised through Sol Mama. If you choose to arrange a return independently via a courier without raising a request with us first, Sol Mama will not be responsible for any return shipping charges incurred.


7.3 How to Raise a Return Request

Only one return request can be raised per order. Please ensure you select all items you wish to return at the time of raising the request. Any items sent back that were not included in the original return request will not be eligible for return or refund. If you wish to add items after raising a request, please contact our team at support@sol-mama.com and any additional pickups may be subject to a fee.

 

7.4 Refund Process

Returns are processed within 72 hours of being received at our facility. Once your return is approved, you will receive an email confirmation. Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit, after deducting the to-and-fro shipping amount and any applicable COD charges. Store credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be used toward any future Sol Mama purchase.

For Cash on Delivery orders, our team will reach out to collect your bank details if a bank transfer is required. Refunded amounts typically reflect within 7–14 working days, depending on your bank.


7.5 No Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To get a different size or style, simply return the original item and place a fresh order. If you need help choosing the right size, our team is always happy to assist at support@sol-mama.com 


7.6 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing support@sol-mama.com with your order ID, clear photographs of the product and packaging, and a brief description of the issue. We will investigate promptly and guide you through the next steps.


7.7 Colour Variations

Please note that slight colour variations between the product displayed on the Website and the item received are not considered defects and will not be grounds for return. This is a natural result of professional photography lighting and screen calibration differences.


8. Order Cancellations

8.1 Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched. To do so, please contact us at support@sol-mama.com as soon as possible after placing your order. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled; you will need to follow the return process instead.


8.2 Cancellation by Sol Mama

The Company reserves the right to cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to: pricing errors, product unavailability, suspected fraud, or failure to verify payment. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of any amount already paid.


9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website - including but not limited to the Sol Mama brand name and logo, product photographs, graphic designs, copy, illustrations, and the overall look and feel of the Website is the exclusive property of Matra Lifestyle Products and Services LLP and is protected under:

  • The Copyright Act, 1957
  • The Trade Marks Act, 1999
  • The Designs Act, 2000
  • Other applicable intellectual property laws of India

You may not reproduce, republish, download, distribute, transmit, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written permission from the Company. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

 

10. User Conduct

When using this website, you agree not to:

You represent that any content you submit is your own original work, does not infringe any third-party rights, and is not defamatory, offensive, or misleading.

The Company reserves the right to remove any user-generated content that it deems inappropriate, offensive, or inconsistent with its values.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Matra Lifestyle Products and Services LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

  • Unauthorised access to your personal data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
  • Delays or failures in delivery caused by third-party courier partners or force majeure events

Our total liability in connection with any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Website

This indemnity obligation will survive the termination of your account or use of the Website.


15. Breach and Consequences

In the event that you are found to be in breach of these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, or any applicable law, Sol Mama reserves the right without prior notice to:

The failure of Sol Mama to enforce any right or provision of these Terms at any point in time shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision, nor shall it prevent Sol Mama from enforcing that right or provision at a later date. All rights and remedies available to Sol Mama under these Terms remain fully reserved unless expressly waived in writing.

 

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:

  • The Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000
  • The Sale of Goods Act, 1930

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, India.


19. Modifications to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon being published on the website. Continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
